Britton-Hecla’s volleyball squad split a pair of matches in the past week, sweeping Waverly-South Shore last week Tuesday but getting swept by Florence-Henry on homecoming on Thursday.
Coach Jenna Peters’ squad stood at 7-6 heading into a match at Sisseton last night Tuesday. Milbank comes to town on Thursday and the Lady Braves take on Waubay-Summit at Waubay next Tuesday.
“We played a good game against Waverly-South Shore,” said Peters. “It helped us boost our confidence going into the last leg of our regular season. Florence/Henry highlighted some of the weaker parts of our game so we’ve been working hard on those areas at practice. We’ve set some goals for ourselves for the last 10 games of the season to help put us in a good spot for the postseason.”
