Texas Man Sentenced To 45 Years For MC Rape, Incest Crimes

A Gainesville, TX man was recently sentenced to 45 years in the South Dakota State Penitentiary for several crimes committed in Marshall County that date back to last year. Andrew Doyle Hubble, 37, who was living in Britton as of last October, pled guilty on Sept. 26 to three charges of Aggravated Incest, a Class 3 Felony; three charges of Fourth Degree Rape, a Class 3 Felony; and one charge of ‘Use Or Dissemination Of Visual Recording Or Photographic Device Without Consent Or Knowledge, a Class 6 Felony.
A criminal complaint was made against Hubble in late February of this year. According to a subsequent indictment against Hubble filed in March, between October of 2022 and February of 2023, he committed several acts of aggravated incest and fourth degree rape. The original indictment included 22 counts. Hubble was arrested in mid-March.
A plea agreement was reached in June. Pursuant to the plea, several charges were dismissed. Marshall County State’s Attorney Victor Rapkoch noted that this plea made it possible to avoid a jury trial and spare the victim from appearing at a trial.
Hubble was sentenced in late September.  Though he could have been sentenced to serve over 90 years in prison, the judge elected for Hubble’s sentences to be served concurrently.
For the aggravated incest charges, he was sentenced to the State Pen for fifteen years on each count to run consecutively with each other, for a total of forty-five-year sentence.  On the three statutory rape charges, Hubble was sentenced to fifteen years for each one to run concurrently with the incest charges. On the one use of visual recording or photographic device without consent charge, he was sentenced to two years to run concurrently with all other charges.
