LANGFORD AREA INTERPERS ON TO DISTRICTS

Langford Area Oral Interpers competed Monday night in their local contest. The winners in the different categories are qualified to head to the District Contest next week. The judge for Monday’s competition was Melissa Storley.

Megan Gustafson will advance with her poetry selection “Psychological Issues?.” Daniel Jesz won for his humorous piece “Sun Dazed.” Shaina Kleeman also competed in humorous.

Josie VanderVorst will head to districts with her oratory “The Ones We Sent Away.” Morgan Ostlie won the Serious Reading category with “Bein’ Crazy.” Maddie Knebel presented a serious piece as well. Gustafson and Tawnee Nelson won the duet category with “Mind Over Matter.” Josie Jensen and Lillian Olson also presented a duet piece.

The LA interpers will travel to the District Competition on Nov. 1 at the Dakota Event Center in Aberdeen. The team is coached by Abby Krueger.
