Eight Langford Area seniors will receive diplomas during the school’s 113th Commencement set for Saturday at 2 p.m. in the school gymnasium.
Britton-Hecla’s graduation will be the following weekend on Sunday, May 19.
LA graduates Megan Gustafson and Cali VanderVorst will present the Senior Honor Presentation. As Senior Class President, Bryanna Peterson will give the welcome. Secondary Principal Mary Hosford will recognize honor students and present the Senior Class. Superintendent Shad Storley will present the scholarship awards, and President of the Board of Education Jennifer Gustafson will present diplomas.
The Langford Area Choir will perform, “I Lived” and the LA Concert Band will play, “What Makes You Beautiful” as well as the processional and recessional.
Megan Gustafson and Cali VanderVorst will graduate with high honors. Other members of the graduating class include Kalen Godel, Emily Hill, Issak Jesz, Tawnee Nelson, Bryanna Peterson, and Corbin Traylor.
The Langford Area Class of 2024 adopted “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough” as its class motto, the white daisy as the class flower, and maroon, gold and white as the class colors.
The last day of school for the seniors was yesterday, (Tuesday) while other students will be dismissed for the summer at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 16.
