BRITTON CHAMBER PLANS HOLIDAY PROMOS

    The Britton Area Chamber of Commerce is planning several holiday promotions for Britton businesses and area residents.
“Thankful Thursdays” start this week on the Britton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.  Followers will be asked to share a picture or comment about a business or service in Britton they are thankful for and why.  $25 in Britton Bucks will be given to one lucky winner by random drawing.
    Area businesses may register for free to participate in Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30.
    Then, staring in December, each Wednesday, the Chamber will have a Facebook post called “Wish List Wednesdays.”  Followers share a picture or comment of items on their wish lists at Britton area businesses.  The idea is to bring awareness to the products and services that local businesses offer and promote shopping local.  Another $25 in Britton Bucks will be given to a randomly drawn winner who commented.
     The Parade of Trees is moving back to Marshall County Healthcare Center.  Artificial trees can be set up and decorated starting the week of Thanksgiving. The public can vote on their favorite tree with the winner receiving $50 in Britton Bucks. Contact Juile at 605-290-5042 or Todd at 605-880-7475 for additional information. 
    Christmas on Parade is planned for Saturday, December 7. The theme this year is “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” Call Emily if you would like to participate in the parade (605-448-8130). The Chamber also encourages businesses to have a special sale or serve a special treat for the Christmas on Parade celebration. There will be several fun activities planned during the day as usual.
    Holiday punch cards are back this year and will be available at participating businesses.  You earn punches for every $25 spent, with $300 filling a card. Picking up and turning in completed cards will get your name in a drawing multiple times. Throughout the season, there will be four drawings for $25 in Britton Bucks.
    Later this month, the Chamber will start sharing clues for their Silver Bell hunt. Find it and win $50 in Britton Bucks
