The Britton Area Junior Snow Queen represented herself very well this past weekend at the State Snow Festival in Aberdeen. The local queen, Corinne Bosse, was named the First Runner Up in the pageant.
Bosse is the daughter of Christina and DuWayne Bosse. She is freshmen at Britton-Hecla High School. She was crowned as the Britton Area Junior Snow Queen in November. As the first runner up, Bosse would assume the role as state Junior Snow Queen if the winner is unable to fulfill her reign.
Langford Area’s representative at the festival was Grace Hatfield. Hatfield is the daughter of Nellie Hatfield and Jeremy Hatfield The young lady who won State Junior Snow Queen is not unfamiliar to the Britton area. Willa Stern of Webster will reign throughout this next year. Stern is the daughter of Clay and JuliAnna (Eberhart) Thompson. JuliAnna is a Britton native. Willa’s grandparents Stuart and Diane J. Eberhart still live in Britton.
Besides Stern and Bosse, other members of the queen’s court include: Second Runner up Jr Miss Sisseton Kayana Wright, Third Runner up Jr Miss Groton Talli Wright, Fourth Runner up Jr Miss Hoven Dannika Kaup and Miss Congeniality Jr Miss Warner Madelynn Erdmann.
Britton Area Senior Snow Queen Regan Ringkob will compete in the State Festival in Aberdeen on Saturday. The event will take place at the Aberdeen Civic Theater at 7 p.m.
