The Britton-Hecla girls basketball team wrapped up regular season play with a 5329 loss to Groton Area and will travel to Tulare to take on Hitchcock-Tulare in quarterfinal action of the Region 1B tournament on Saturday.

The Britton-Hecla wrestling squad tuned up for the Region 1B tournament in Sioux Valley (Volga) on Saturday by competing in the Northeast Conference Tournament in Webster on Saturday.

The Britton-Hecla boys basketball team picked up its second win of the season, stopping Sisseton 39-33 last week Tuesday.

Britton-Hecla is one of eight teams to advance to the state gymnastics meet on team day this Friday beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Aberdeen Central High School.
