PAUL STEWART BREMMON
PAUL STEWART BREMMON

Visitation was from 5:007:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Olson Funeral Chapel in Britton. Per Paul’s wishes please dress casual for his services.
Paul Stewart Bremmon was born to Clayton and Eleanore (Olson) Bremmon in Britton, SD on January 6, 1950. He grew up on the family farm south of Britton and attended country school until the 4th grade and then later graduated from Britton High School.
After high school Paul married Jane Eikamp and they had their sons, Chad and Cory. They lived in Milnor, ND while Paul worked for John Deere and Nelson Implements. Paul moved his family back to rural Britton upon buying the “Old Abbas Place” in 1976. This farmstead was a labor of love, remodeling the house and adding shelterbelts to the one lone tree on the property. Farming, raising pigs and cattle was the starting point of an evolving use of talent and trades.
Paul later married Konnie Olauson on February 17, 1996 in which he helped raise Katie and Kaylin.
Paul was very musically inclined which showed in his ability to play several instruments and sing. In high school Paul had a “Rock-n-Roll” band called The Shades of Blue, and also his family band. Paul loved to share his music with his children and grandchildren. Paul was always learning and evolving. He loved being challenged as he branched his business out to construction, welding and mechanics, just to name a few things. Paul did a lot of ornamental work that can be found on the farm and surrounding areas. Along with his grandson, Maddix they secretly made Konnie a garden trellis in which Maddix learned about patience and that possibly making a “million curled pieces of iron would not be his thing.” That was Paul’s way to teach or lead by example.
Paul passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at his home, at the age of 75.
Paul will be missed greatly by those who survive him: his wife, Konnie; sons, Cory and Chad; daughters, Katie and Kaylin; sisters, Kathy and Carol; his grandchildren which he adored, Kourtney, Maddix, Kallie and Eleanore; and a great-grandson, Owen, with a baby brother to be making his appearance any time now.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Clayton and Eleanore Bremmon; brother, Philip Bremmon; and sister, Kay Mack.
Condolences may be directed to the family in care of Konnie Bremmon – 42641 113th St. – Britton, SD 57430. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Britton Library or Strand Theater.
