Britton-Hecla and Langford Area School fifth graders gather around the CareFlight helicopter at Marshall County Healthcare Center last week. Horton Inc. of Britton was recognized by the United Way of Northeastern South Dakota last week. The company was named a Give from the Heart Winner for increasing their giving from the previous year. Horton donated over $28,000 to the organization last year. Auxiliary Honors Young Writers

    On Monday, March 18, the local winners of the American Legion Auxiliary Poetry and Essay contests were guests of Auxiliary Unit #80 in Britton for supper.
