Host Eastern Coteau Conference Tuesday
Quietly behind the scenes, Marshall County’s new Air Rifle team has been working hard and improving their skills.
The Britton-Hecla junior high track squad competed in a pair of recent meets at Milbank and Britton.
Team competition in Humbolt County proved favorable for the Marshall County Sharpshooters. The tournament held Saturday at Tri-Valley High School was the last of the regular season competitions. Twenty-three kids made the trek south to shoot in a contest of 180 total shooters.
Langford Area’s thinclads hit the track for the second time this season at the Orville Pfitzer Relays in Britton on Monday, and LA coach Charles Hosford was pleased with the progress he saw from his squad.
At Groton Tuesday
After a couple of delays due to Mother Nature, the Britton-Hecla golf squad was able to tee off its’ spring season at Leola in gusty conditions on Monday.
8-9-Year-Olds Claim Another Title
The Marshall County region was well represented when winners were recently announced for the South Dakota Junior Duck Stamp Contest.
