The Langford Area girls basketball team took a fourgame winning streak into a Lake Region Conference contest with Warner last night Tuesday.

Britton-Hecla’s girls basketball team picked up its third win of the season on Saturday, downing Waverly-South Shore 57-33 but fell to Warner on Thursday 51-23.

Donald L. Beaner Sr., 82, died unexpectedly January 8th, 2024, at the family farm. Funeral mass will begin at 11 AM on Friday, January 19 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. Burial will take place at 2:30 PM at St. Joseph Wellington Cemetery, rural Humboldt, SD. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the family farm, 45366 Highway 42, Parker, SD 3-7 PM with prayer service 5-5:30 PM.
