First place in the B-H Homecoming parade float contest went to the ninth-grade class with their entry from the movie “Up” and the slogan “The Braves are Up Above the Rest.”
The tenth-grade class brought Gotham City to the B-H Homecoming parade Friday with their Batman entry. They earned Honorable Mention in the float building contest.
The sixth-grade class had a float dedicated to the “Despicable Me” movies, complete with plenty of Minions. They took second place in the float contest.
The B-H Senior Class took third place in the float contest for their ‘Friends’ entry in the parade- “The One Where We Won.”
The Britton-Hecla Marching Band led off the Homecoming parade on Friday. The band is directed by Jakob Walden.
Emily Van Lith was looking festive on the Britton Area Chamber float in an entry decked out to reflect the TV show “Miraculous.”
The B-H Fourth Graders marched in the parade, cheering on the Braves along with the other elementary students.
B-H Homecoming King and Queen Kendall Knudson and Sterling Brassfield were recognized during the football game on Friday.

The folks with Schmidt Spray Foam looked a little scary with their Ghostbusters float. The iconic ghost Slimer even made an appearance.
Norstar Credit Union embraced Homecoming’s movie related theme with their Jurassic Park float and the slogan “Mustangs? More Like ‘Must Go Extinct!’”
