Sonja Ann Schultz, 60, of Willmar, died Sunday, September 29th at St. Cloud Hospital. Her memorial service will be 11:00 am, Friday, October 4th at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be at a later date at Britton Cemetery in Britton, SD. www.hafh.org Sonja Ann Schultz was born August 31, 1964, to Vernon and Gloria (Honrud) Schultz in Sioux Falls, SD. She was baptized and later confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Britton, SD. She and her family grew up on their family farm near Lake City, SD, where Sonja enjoyed helping her father farm. She had a close relationship to her family, especially her twin sister, Signe. Sonja attended school in Britton and graduated from high school in 1983. During this time, she was active in basketball and swimming. Sonja furthered her education at Moorehead State University where she graduated with a degree in social work. She later received her master’s degree in social work at the University of Minnesota. Sonja enjoyed woodworking, where she made many walking sticks. She also enjoyed riding horses, spending time in the Black Hills and worked at Custer State Park. She loved all animals and her two cats: Roscoe and Charlie had a special place in her heart. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
