TIMOTHY “TIM” TISHER
TIMOTHY “TIM” TISHER
In 1977, he married Donna Heberlein and they had two children, Kari Ann and Adam Lyle. Tim married Ruby Amoroso on March 16, 2007 and had two children with Ruby, Jade Timothy and Tanasia Jo. He enjoyed all sports, especially playing fast pitch softball on the Hecla Grain team in the Britton and Hecla leagues. He enjoyed music, playing trombone from the 5th grade all through high school. Tim enjoyed life, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and visiting, pretty much all of life.
He drove the Schwan Ice Cream Truck for a number of years, meeting many people and keeping in touch with those friends over the years. He owned and operated Sand Lake Lanes in Hecla for five years. He then started working as a machinist in Oakes and Gwinner for 20 plus years.
Tim credits his dad for the love of horses and all animals. He credits his mom for his love of music. Tim loved to eat and visit, but that all changed in January of 2015 when he had a brain tumor surgery. He no longer could eat or drink and talking was very limited.
Tim was very proud of his children and the sacrifices Ruby and the kids had to put up with. Tim had a full life and never complained about his health problems.
Tim is survived by his wife Ruby; daughter Kari and her son Calder from Milton-Freewater, OR, sonAdam (Whitney) Tisher and sons Kc & Peyton from Tremonton, UT, son Jade and daughter Tanasia both at home; brothers, Ken (Mary) Tisher of Hecla, Victor (Jo) Tisher of Rapid City, SD, sisters, Polly (Richard Henninger) Becker of Oakes, Shawn (Kevin) Carlson of Oakes, mother-in-law, Haide Qualman and father-in-law, Jack Qualman of Middletown, ID; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
