Delores Mary Sigaty was born March 30, 1935, to Michael and Mary (Burjon) Sigaty in Britton, SD. She was raised on a farm near Lake City, SD and attended school in Lake City.

On September 17, 1960, Delores was united in marriage to Stanley C. Lesnar at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lake City, SD. The couple made their home on a farm north of Grenville. Together she and Stanley raised four children and shared over 57 years of marriage before he passed away on November 7, 2017. Delores continued to reside on the family farm until 2019, when she became a resident at Wheatcrest Hills Healthcare Center. While living at Wheatcrest, Delores made many friends and enjoyed participating in numerous activities. She continued to reside there until the time of her passing.

In her spare time, Delores enjoyed playing Whist and Bingo. She especially enjoyed fishing and often caught more fish than her favorite fishing partner, Stanley! Above all, Delores loved caring for her husband and children. When asked by the staff of Wheatcrest what she was most thankful for, her response, without hesitation, was the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Delores was also a woman of strong faith, which her and Stanley instilled in their family over the years.
