The Marshall County Air Rifle Team has earned a spot in the national tournament to be held in Camp Perry, OH, June 20-22. Team members include Baylee Bender, Austin Crawford, Clay Crawford, and Lexi Cutler, and Amelia Crawford and Grant Cutler are the alternates. The team earned its berth by shooting well at the regional in Sandy, UT, last weekend.
MC Air Rifle Team Earns Shot At National Crown

Quietly behind the scenes, Marshall County’s new Air Rifle team has been working hard and improving their skills.
Britton-Hecla’s Tanner Atkinson took the baton from Chaz Vietor and ran to a win in the 800-meter relay in Britton on Monday. The duo also were part of the winning 1600-meter quartert with Jack Teveldal and Nathan Folkman.
Jack Teveldal won the eighth grade boys 1600-meter run for Britton-Hecla and also anchored the winning 1600-meter relay in a meet held in Britton on Monday.
JH Thinclads Compete In Britton

The Britton-Hecla junior high track squad competed in a pair of recent meets at Milbank and Britton.
Britton-Hecla’s Jaelee Grupe just cleared the bar on this high jump attempt during the Orville Pfitzer Relays on Monday. Grupe placed sixth in the event with a jump of 4-6.

At Groton Tuesday
Britton-Hecla’s Bryce Hawkinson handed the baton to Mitchell Burger in the 3200-meter relay during the Orville Pfitzer Relays on Monday. The duo teamed up with Ben Suther and Daniel Person to finish third.
Golfers Tee Off Season

After a couple of delays due to Mother Nature, the Britton-Hecla golf squad was able to tee off its’ spring season at Leola in gusty conditions on Monday.
